Hi Tomas! From what I can see it looks like your table doesn’t have any kind of texture on it. If thats true you could try wet polishing the stain away which would go down a bit into the concrete. The best approach depends on how deep the stain is. You could also try a stone stain remover and try to scrub or power wash the stain off. If none of those approaches seem like they will work you can try to cover it with a concrete overlay such as Ardex, here is the affiliate link for that finish http://amzn.to/2xDhjPC Hope some of this helps. Cheers!

I have a stone table but in one place there is a scratch (the color is more pail). I would like to know what I could do to stain the table in that spot to make the spot go away? Would really appreciate some tips….

Hi! very cool table:) An acrylic sealer wouldn’t hide the stains enough in my experience. Wet polishing with an electric polisher is an option that would grind into the concrete to remove the stains (although it would remove the texture). Another option might be to use a stone stain remover and try scrubbing or power washing out the stains outdoors. You could cover it with a concrete overlay like Ardex (available on Amazon) — but you could essentially cover a piece of plywood with concrete and I’d hat to see that nice piece of stone covered up. Let me know what you end up trying out. Cheers!

I have a stone coffee table from West End that has developed some stains over the years. If I applied an acrylic concrete sealer would that hide the stains? Could I cover the stone with concrete and seal that? Attached are a few photos, Thanks!

Hi! If you do a 1 1/2 inch thick top it will weigh between 15-18 pounds per square foot. How big are you planning to make the bar? (width by length and thickness)?

I typically use whatever is cheapest at the store. DAP or GE work just fine. Yes, silicon is easy to remove. A big reason why I use it. Do not use construction adhesive or glue. Cheers!

Thanks! Which brand of silicon do you use? Also, the the base is 23″ tall and the concrete is 1.25″ thick and weights 110lbs. Lastly, if I ever wanted to switch out the top, can the silicone be removed or is it permanent? Thanks again!

Hey Blair! I typically attach tops using 100% silicon. If the pedestal has enough surface area that would most likely do the job. How tall is the base, and how thick is the concrete?

I have a 24″ round concrete tabletop and I would like to attach it to a three-legged pedestal stainless steel base. The base has a square plate with 4 holes for screws but that was used for the original top, which was wood. This is an accent table for the living room, so what’s the best way to attached it so its secure? Thanks!
