Looks great Chris! You certainly can use an epoxy resin to level the surface out. Just make sure that you finish the concrete/wood connection lines to the level that you want. Cheers! Hope it goes well!

Hi Blake, the concrete top is heavy and stays in place — but you can certainly run a bead of silicon around the top of the metal. Or, you could use rubber pads to keep it in place and prevent from slipping. Cheers!

For concrete that will be used as a table top I recommend either 5000 psi mix or countertop mix if it is available to you, as you want the smoothest results possible.
