Hey Pete, I had to build a proper work bench first before I built the rolling bench…check it out! I will build the rolling bench this weekend or next weekend.

JP,
The side panels aren’t structurally necessary. They are partially for decoration and they also help the keep tools on the bottom shelf from sliding off when moving the bench.
