Hi Rich, I used cabinet grade plywood pine for the base. I used pine for the top. Best of luck!

HI Pete. For the Hutch, what kind/type of wood did you use. did you use the same type of wood for all pieces or higher grade for the “sitting” level and top?

Hey all– Great plans, @petesveen! Thanks so much for sharing, and for the vids, etc. I had to laugh because I used the shopping list from the current download doc, which calls for “QTY: 6 – 1x12x6 boards for shelf uprights, shelves, and top.” But, like Brad, I got to Step 6 and found I needed one longer board 🙂 Maybe update the doc for the next folks! Other than that, the plan has been terrific, and I’m really delighted with the product. Best, JD
