Hey Tom! Great to hear from you 🙂 Yep, I think you’d do great. I taught a college student how to carve this fall and his first carving took him an afternoon and the log did look like a bear by the time he was done! I’d absolutely love to hear how your first project goes and would be thrilled to see a photo. — Definitely wear the safety protection I recommend in the video (especially the kevlar pants and helmet/face guard, hearing protection etc).
